Silage tape has many other uses other than repairing holes in your wrapped silage or haylage. 

This silage tape measures 18m x 75mm.

Silage tape is a valuable part of any equine first aid kit, as it can allow you to create and mould a protective boot around a poulticed hoof. Movement is beneficial for many injuries, and often a better outcome can be had from allowing a horse with a hoof abscess some gentle turnout. The strength and adhesion of silage tape wrapped over your poultice and bandage can help maintain the dressing despite movement of the horse.
